Erysimum Taffeta is an outstanding new series of UK bred double Wallflowers that was shortlisted in Chelsea Plant of The Year 2023 - launched by our sister company, Sow Successful Ltd!

Erysimum 'Taffeta Red' produces striking red, molten lava coloured double flowers, originating from old, now extinct races of double Wallflower crossed with modern, early-flowering hybrids. This means they are virus-free and easy to propagate from seed. It's possible to have flowers from February right through to mid-summer. A real hit with bees due to the flowers' open habit. Their superb drought-tolerance and hardiness in UK conditions, combined with sweetly scented flowers on compact, bushy plants ensures this series outperforms any other with its modern characteristics.

Grows fantastically well in containers and direct in the ground. The name Taffeta comes from the silky look of the petals that resemble a blowsy dress, neatly arranged and looking amazing on mass!
